Eating Out In Atlanta

Okay! Funny thing about us and food… and eating out. We seriously totally dig eating out… luckily we live in Atlanta and there’s good stuff every block. We have two trips planned in the next month. Phoenix, and then Charleston. While we’re specifically going to Charleston as a food trip (hahaha, I know you’re SO jealous. I know you are. How can you not be? We’re staying dead in the center of town and just there to… eat…. stupid travel channel!)

It’s funny ya know. When I lived in Phoenix, I don’t think any place was ever touted as having ‘the best’ biscuits… in fact… biscuits don’t seem to get any sort of mention at all… ha, compare that to Atlanta. It’s weird how Phoenix just really doesn’t seem to have a foodie culture at all. I understand that it’s hard since there aren’t too many restaurants worth anything, but still… with 1.5 million people, you’d think that they’d have more.. eh. maybe not. I might just be way off. I mean, I lived there for over 15 years. Although… there is one definite area that Atlanta doesn’t match Phoenix… it doesn’t really have anything that lives to the Rigoberto’s. (Actually, it’s more of a “fill in name-bertos”)

Seriously. 24 hours mexican food made in an unusually small hut looking building? Supersize burritos made from what seems like mystery meet? Ha. This is one area I think Atlanta won’t match Phoenix.

  1. Mystery meat is one of the best things about dining out in unusually small huts!
